Nine-month term, full-time faculty position

About the Position

The Department of Biology is seeking candidates for a full-time, nine-month term appointment at the Assistant Professor level commencing August 1, 2013. The Department seeks candidates with expertise in zoology or animal physiology. The appointee will be responsible for lectures in introductory biology, animal diversity, animal physiology, and other subjects, to a total of six one-semester courses. Workload includes advising of students, collegial service and participation in the administration of the department.


A PhD in zoology or animal physiology is required for this position. The ability to teach neuroscience and experience teaching at the university level are assets.
