Qualifications: A PhD in education with a concentration in the political dimensions education, schools and school systems. Applicants should understand the relationships of power, authority, and influence in educational settings and be able to relate the political aspects of education to broader political questions. A record of successful program development and teaching in graduate programs is required.
Duties: Preparation, teaching, student consultation, grading and marking, distribution of student evaluation questionnaires, involvement in student appeals, and other duties appropriate to the appointment. All distance (DLCE) courses require completion of current technology orientation from DLCE.

Remuneration: Remuneration is in accordance with the Collective Agreement between Mount Saint Vincent University and CUPE 3912
The following is the current stipend schedule contained in the Collective Agreement, including 4.9% vacation pay. Stipends listed correspond to a full unit (1.0) course. Contract stipends will be prorated according to the course unit value.
